Darkworld

Darkworld is a term that refers to both a dimension and an entity. The dimension, also known as Darkworld, is a magical realm created by a cosmic being of the same name. It is inhabited by various ancient Atlantean-based gods and demons. This cosmic entity is the originator of magic used by both the ancient Atlantean gods and the Homo Magi prior to the first Great Deluge in Atlantean history. Darkworld has significant connections to the Lords of Chaos and Order and is also revealed to be a part of the greater entity known as the Great Darkness.

The dimension was created by Paul Kupperberg and Jan Duursema, first appearing in Warlord #58 (1982). The character was created by Paul Kupperberg and Ron Wilson, first appearing in Arion the Immortal #5 (1992).
