Das Primate Patrol was a unit of Nazi gorillas that operated briefly during World War II.

History

They were discovered and trained as guards by Nazis operating in Africa. American prisoners surreptitiously taught the gorillas how to use their weapons against their Nazi captors and escaped when the primates overpowered the Nazis. The gorillas then retreated into the jungles.[1] Abandoned, they eventually resurfaced when their leader Julius was involved in an adventure with Team 13 that pitted them against the Architects.[2]
