History
David Corby was an athletic student of Hudson University. He started dating Lori Elton after she broke up with Dick Grayson.[1]
Soon enough, Corby turned to crime and adopted the costume identity of the Raven, confronting Robin outside of campus in New Carthage on various occasions.[2][3][4]
Corby was eventually exposed by Dick Grayson in front of Lori and the entire university. Grayson told everyone how Corby was recruited by MAZE and how he became The Raven, driving David into attacking him. In the ensuing match, Corby was overpowered by Grayson and he was taken by Chief McDonald to the authorities. Lori learned the truth and after losing a criminal boyfriend, she also lost Dick Grayson.[5]
Notes
- This version of the Raven, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
