David Drake (New Earth)

Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985–86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
Typhoon's first appearance was originally intended for the unpublished Firestorm #6. That story was completed, and eventually published in Cancelled Comic Cavalcade #1. However, when Typhoon appeared in The Flash #294, no mention was made of the earlier story, and several significant changes were made to Typhoon, including his origin and real name. Therefore, the story in Cancelled Comic Cavalcade #1 is considered non-canon, and The Flash #294 is his real first appearance.
