Dr. David Umber is a biophysicist who worked for Zaniel Templar at the Superboy project.

History

He delivered Lois Lane information about N.O.W.H.E.R.E.. He didn't tell her about Superboy, because he knew Templar would find out and have him killed. After one of N.O.W.H.E.R.E.'s own, Caitlin Fairchild was unmasked as a metahuman bio-terrorist who wanted to destroy N.O.W.H.E.R.E., Umber got her job. All the time, he treated Superboy as a human being, not an object.
