Synopsis for "Circle Of Fire"

Several friends and foes are heading towards Rama Kushna's temple located in the city of Nanda Parbat; circus performers Vashnu the fakir and Maxwell Loomis the midget, the evil Sensei who is leading his army of Psi-Gunners towards her for battle and also Deadman, who has suddenly become solid while entering Nanda Parbat. When he is in the city limits, he's no longer a ghost, but an ordinary man. From behind, he is promptly head-butted by the back of a rifle, and falls.

He wakes to find himself captured in a prison cell. His cellmates are the midget clown, Maxwell Loomis and the old man — Sensei. The old man reveals that his body was but a garment (host) for Jonah, and he should not be responsible for his past doings, due to being only a haunted soul.

During the old man's confessions, Jonah (now looking like a young strong man) enters the dungeon and threatens the old man with death and then takes Deadman and the midget away. Deadman is prepared for execution, with several blasters aimed at him waiting for Jonah's command.

Meanwhile, inside the temple of Rama Kushna, she and the fakir, Vashnu, are contemplating how to rescue Deadman, how to make him a spirit again in a land where he has no powers. Suddenly, a final sacrifice has begun, and Vashnu floats out of the temple as a messenger. He drifts towards the chained Deadman and is able to magically release him from his bonds. Jonah's firing squad shoot their blasters, killing Vashnu. Deadman escapes the squad and finds shelter inside Rama Kushna's temple.

Within the temple, Rama Kushna comforts Deadman, saying how she admires his independence, and his power to serve. A circle of fire forms and she insists that Deadman take one last aerial leap. He does, and his shackles disappear and he is dead again (a spirit).

Outside the temple, Jonah smashes the door open and goes inside. He spots the circle of fire and confronts Rama Kushna with his Psi-Blaster. He acknowledges that though he was her first pawn, he has now grown hungry for more power. He rationalizes that he must kill her, or she will find others, like Boston Brand, to go after him. He fires his blaster and the temple crumbles down.

Deadman sees Jonah and sneaks up behind him and pushes him down a pit. Outside, the captured midget (Maxwell Loomis) hears Rama Kushna voice speaking to him of the final balance and how he must soon enter the temple.

At the bottom of the temple's pit, Jonah is still an ethereal man, but has been stripped of his weapons. Rama Kushna challenges him, her wrath embraces his evil, smothering it until they merge; good and evil canceling each other out, and becoming nothing.

The temple crashes down, and Maxwell goes in hunting for Boston Brand. His collapsed body is found, and the temple continues to suck itself in, disintegrating. Afterward, the temple is gone and Deadman lies in the arms of the midget and fades too.

Looking about, Maxwell sees everyone dispersing from the scene, including the old man (Sensei). Maxwell is left alone with a few of the villager's kids, a hovercraft lands near them. Out pops the pilot, inhabited by Deadman. Everyone climbs inside the craft while Deadman explains that he did not die in his friends arms, but became a ghost again, so that he may continue his promise to Rama Kushna of rooting out evil and keeping the balance.
