Wildstorm's Deathblow (Michael Cray) became a Navy SEAL prior to being transferred to International Operations newly formed Team-7. Unlike the other members of Team 7 who survived the exposure to the gen factor treatment, Deathblows powers did not manifest until many years later.

Deathblow was created by Jim Lee and Brandon Choi first published at Image Comics Darker Image Vol 1 1.

After Flashpoint event many of Wildstorms characters have been incorporated into the mainstream DC universe. With a retconed new back story.
