Synopsis for "Conversion"
Chapter Five: Slade
Slade fought Checkmate Knights in a simulation, then accepted Steel's offer to join Checkmate and use it at his disposal to find whoever killed his friends. Next, Steel showed Slade that Steve Dayton designed him a new weapons system armor.
Chapter Six: Rose
Wintergreen and Rose attempted to escape the U.S. in a submarine, although its crew betrayed them to Steel, as they did not want to be arrested for aiding and abetting a suspected assassin.
Chapter Seven: Adeline
As Crimelord, Steve Dayton gave Adeline Pat Trayce as a "bonus payment" while still trying to capture Slade. Then, Crimelord was informed that bombs had been set in place in various cities, as he had ordered. After his men were killed in his outpost in Norway and after Checkmate made attempts to disarm the bombs, he wondered who interfered.
Chapter Eight: Steel
Back at the Checkmate Headquarters in Washington, a disguised Wade came for Slade.
