Synopsis for "Showdown at Starpoint"

Deathstroke, Zealot, and the Omegas are en route to Colorado to try to intercept Lobo. Zealot is piloting a ship to find Lobo's ship, Starpoint. After doubting Zealot earlier, Slade is starting to think she is quite useful. Eventually, Zealot has a lock on Starpoint. Before they board the Starpoint and fight Lobo, Zealot reviews a little about Lobo.

For about 30 years, Lobo was held in captivity. He is now free and won't go back in the cage without a tough fight. Now talking to the Omegas, she says that Lobo enslaved their parents (and the rest of their kind) and would sell them for fun. Lobo destroys whole civilizations; life has no value for him. The only thing Lobo cares about is Sheba, an equally cruel Czarnian princess. One day, the Starpoint was attacked by pirates and was badly damaged. The cargo was compromised. The ship then crashed on Earth and Lobo was taken to captivity. Sheba's whereabouts are unknown. The prisoners on Starpoint escaped during the crash and started lives on Earth. They started families but their offspring had their powers and were discovered. (The Omegas are not human and have special powers.) The company has sheltered the fugitive's children for all these years.

The group arrives at the crash site of Starpoint, "uncloaked" from Lobo earlier that night. Deathstroke realizes he must hurry and defeat Lobo before authorities notice the ship and get involved in this madness. The group enters the ship as Lobo is getting ready to blow up Earth. (The ship's entrance was wide open) He plans to leave Earth before it blows up with his SpazFrag666 and reunite with Sheba. As the group goes through each level, Kalista makes sure the coast is clear by looking for signs of thermal signatures. (She remains outside as the group is inside.) Once the group is on level 3, Lobo comes out of nowhere screaming "GET THE FRAG OFF MY SHIP!!!"

The group starts fighting Lobo. As the fighting continues, Deathstroke realizes he is outclassed in every measure. He realizes he can't outthink a berserker so his best strategy is to wear him down. At one point Deathstroke puts two Thermal Detonators on Lobo. If one can take down an elephant, then two should take down Lobo. After the detonators explode, Lobo is still up just part of his skin is gone. Lobo then regenerates and is perfectly healed. Deathstroke realizes his chances of coming out alive just dropped considerably. Fully healed, Lobo starts attacking Deathstroke to kill him and then get his Nth metal. Slade is grabbed by Lobo knowing part of him knew this would be his last contract. Lobo then exclaims that this planet is set to blow and that this blaze will be the mother of 'em all.
