Deathstroke the Terminator (Volume 1) with a cover date of May, 1992.
Synopsis for "Needs and Necessities"
Patricia told Slade about L.J. before the mercenary started training her, although reluctantly, at first. Then, Patricia asked Louisa how L.J. was, although she didn't know where he was and the boy and several others were robbing a store in order to impress their employers, while Slade told Wintergreen that he was parting ways with him after his next mission.
Deathstroke and Vigilante attacked a warehouse that was selling drugs to children and were both injured after fighting criminals, including L.J. After Slade carried Patricia back to the cabin, they kissed. Meanwhile, the gang was impressed by the performances of L.J. and the other boys against Deathstroke and Vigilante and decided to include them in a score to take over Gotham City.
