Delphinius was an uplifted dolphin created by Dr. Moreau.

Delphinius was a dolphin turned in the shape of a man through Moreau's experiments, and was part of his Justifiers of Law to the Anointed. The Justifiers were first seen carrying in a shipment of new animals for their maker to experiment on, with Delphinius saving Lucas Carr when the latter was thrown off the ship by the irritable captain. Delphinius was later seen with the others initiating two new hybrids to Moreau's laws.

Taken to England to be showcased, the Justifiers were initially met with hostility before being tasked to end Jack the Ripper's killing spree. The Justifiers eventually found the Ripper, who revealed himself to be Moreau's first uplifted animal. After Dianna killed the Ripper and reverted back to her animalistic instincts, she convinced Delphinius and the other Justifiers to do so as well, and they ate the Ripper's corpse.

Gathered by their maker so he could graft ape flesh to them, the Justifiers rebelled, with Moreau shooting Delphinius in retribution. However, after a fight broke out that resulted in the deaths of the Justifiers and Moreau, Delphinius was the last to die.[1]
