Upon a cliff out of immediate danger, Xanadu and Jason Blood assess the situation while Merlin's body suddenly sits up. Above the battlefield a light pierces the sky and King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table join the fray. Xanadu notices a change in Exoristos while the Questing Queen's Horde begins their charge towards the Demon Knights. Al Jabr uses an invention to summon a storm over Avalon.

As King Arthur does battle with Lucifer and the Questing Queen, Etrigan suddenly swoops in and snatches Merlin into the sky but is quickly struck by lightning. Back on the battlefield the waters of Avalon begin to disenchant Mordru's and Lucifer's control over their respective armies and both retreat. The Demon Knights stand between Etrigan and Merlin when Merlin suddenly ages backwards and becomes New Adam. New Adam bonds Etrigan back to Jason Blood and names the Demon Knights his Stormwatch.

Xanadu and Jason Blood choose to spend time together away from the group. Disgusted, Horsewoman departs telling the group that they are denying their great destiny.
