Notes
- "Generations: Fractured" was supposed to be part of the cancelled "Generations" event which was to be published under the 5G Initiative.
- Although the epilogue of the issue states that the story continues in "Generations: Future State", the storyline is actually continued in Generations Shattered #1.
- This story is also reprinted in DC Comics: Generations.
- "A Gift" is a tie-in to the of The Joker War event.
- Like the rest of the storyline, the events of this story are eventually merged into the continuity of Prime Earth, occuring in early Spring 2021, after the unknotting of the timeline and the rebirth of the Multiverse.
- The Black Casebook storyline is continued in the following issues of Detective Comics (Volume 1).
- The story "Detective #26" is named to evoke the feeling of being a prequel to Detective Comics #27, which contained the first comic appearance of Batman.
- The title is also a play on Detective Comics #26.
- "Legacy" is reprinted in Batman/Catwoman. This surely implies that Bruce's wife, who is unnamed in the story, is actually Selina Kyle.
Trivia
- The Comics Elite Variant cover is a homage to Detective Comics #27.
- The design of the Teen Titans in "Many Happy Returns" is based on their counterparts from the animated Teen Titans TV series.
