Synopsis for Batman: "The Man Who Could See the Future"

A man called Arthur Loom claims to be able to predict the future and he actually predicts the death of two men and the destruction of a building. Batman and Robin investigate the case and learn that the collapse of the building was caused by sabotage. The Gotham City Police Department ask Loom to predict a future crime, and the man informs them that Batman would die on a boat while trying to stop a robbery.

Afterwards, it is revealed that Loom is working with a gang of criminals, who helped to murder the victims of the death predictions, and also planned the destruction of the building. Loom is actually a fraud, but he prepares the gang to strike on a boat and kill Batman, so his prediction will come true. The criminals infiltrate the boat and despite their efforts, they can't kill Batman, and have to escape, defeated. Batman investigates the crime scene and finds a connection between the crimes and Loom, and he plans a trap to capture the con-artist.

Commissioner Gordon asks for Loom's help for an upcoming tornado, but under the threat of being killed by a tornado, Loom confesses the truth and he is arrested. Batman appears and reveals that there wasn't a tornado and that it was all a plan to capture him.
