Synopsis for Batman: "The Human Target"

Fred Venable has the ability to impersonate any person and he decides to help people who have been threatened with murder in order to save them. Eventually people start calling him "The Human Target". Batman becomes aware of Venable's feats and he tries to keep Venable away from danger. When a criminal that is also threatened with murder learns of Venable's impressive abilities, he arranges to kidnap Venable's sick daughter to force Venable to impersonate him. Batman learns of Venable's situation and infiltrates the gang in disguise. In his efforts to capture the gang and the rival gang out to murder the leader Batman has to be saved by Venable, who is disguised as Batman.
