Synopsis for Elongated Man: "My Wife, The Witch!"

Ralph Dibney and his wife arrive at the Pine Beach hotel on a rainy night only to discover that they do not have a reservation. The manager apologizes and informs they they are fully booked. Dibney notices that mailbox 13 still has the room key inside indicating that the room is vacant. The manager informs them that this room is haunted and he would prefer not to place guests there. Dibney insists on taking the room and they spend the night without incident. The next morning Dibney heads out to service his car and his wife Sue remains in the room. She discovers a book on witchcraft and decides to try out some of the spells. She is amazed that she is able to make a lamp float with one of the incantations. She is also able to make the lights in the room brighten and go dark. Sue then spots a third spell that she wants to try but she lacks certain items such as straw from a witches broom, and hair from a black cat. She telephones Dibney at the car shop and asks him to bring back these items for her. The local mechanic informs him that those items can be purchased at the Witches Museum. Ralph heads to the museum but it suddenly gets held up by a group of thugs. Dibney goes into action as elongated man and apprehends all of them. He then heads back to the hotel without the requested items. Dibney suspects that Sue really has no magical powers but that someone has set up the items to make it look like she was performing magic. Dibney suspects that maybe someone wanted him to visit the museum to apprehend the thugs that tried to hold it up. Dibney decides to phone the chief of police but he is unaware that the hotel manager is listening to his conversation. The manager reveals that he set everything up so that Elongated man would apprehend his gang and he could keep all the loot from other robberies for himself. He decides to make a run for it with all his stolen merchandise but Dibney catches up to the crooked manager and apprehends him for authorities
