After learning of a mysterious murder, Dick Grayson decides to enroll in an all boys school where the murder took place. Just then, a boy goes missing. Some time later, Robin finally finds the insane fugitive and captures him. However, the case is not yet solved as the headmaster of the school, Blake, turns up dead in his office. Synopsis for The Crimson Avenger is "Wanted For Murder"
At midnight on the waterfront, criminals were loading cargo onto trucks when two policemen stopped by to confront them. Quickly, the criminals discarded their cargo, which could be used as evidence against them, and shot Mike, one of the officers before fleeing on a boat. After the boat fled, the Crimson Avenger emerged and approached a crate that was left behind by the criminals, opened it, to find a dead body inside. Suddenly, the police arrived to find Mike's corpse, then they turned to see Crimson present, causing him to flee and get into his car with Wing How.
The next day, at the Globe-Leader, Mac gave Lee the headlines for the day, one of them being about the Crimson's encounter with the police. Lee ordered Mac to go and find more news on the story. After Mac exited the room, Lee phoned Wing and ordered him to go to Chinatown to visit his relatives and ask them if they know anything about the smuggling ring. That night, after they learned about the smugglers' hideout, Crimson and Wing decided to go confront them. Crimson and Wing went to the hideout building and overheard the smugglers' conversation from outside of the window. Suddenly, they were attacked and captured by some of the criminals, then brought to their boss, tied up. The boss decided that the two vigilantes needed to be killed, so he pulled out a sword and prepared to execute them both, but Crimson pulled out a lighter and burned off the rope at first, dodging the sword, then kicking the boss away. Next, Crimson pulled out his gas gun and sprayed the criminals before freeing Wing. Crimson ordered Wing to tie up the criminals, then inform the police.
The next day, the headline of the Globe-Leader newspaper read "CRIMSON NABS GANG."
