Synopsis for Batman: "A Small Case of Murder!"

Batman is summoned to investigate the case of a toy manufacturer murdered by a gun-wielding toy doll. When the toy apparently comes to life and flees from the crime scene, Batman follows the odd object until he locates it at the place of its second victim. Batman is absolutely shocked when the toy actually talks to him and aims a gun to shoot him. Batman is apparently killed by the toy and the figure walks away towards the place of Adam Cornelius, a toy designer responsible for creating the toy and giving it the ability to be controled remotely. At that moment, Batman breaks into the place and Cornelius is shocked to see the Batman alive. Batman explains that the toy shot him in the bat symbol on his chest, where he kept a piece of evidence from the crime scene and protected him from the bullet. Finally, Batman attempts to capture Cornelius and bring him to justice, but the criminal panics and activates his own killer toy, who shoots at Cornelius and kills him immediately. Despite knowing that the toy is simply a remote control machine, Batman actually listened to it talking directly to the killer, but after his owner was killed, the toy became lifeless once again.
