Synopsis for "Pick-Up on Gotham 2-4-6"
Hawkman drops by the Wayne Foundation Penthouse to trade stories with Batman and learns of the Caped Crusader's recent foray against a crook who tried to escape from a subway car dressed as the Batman. The whole case turns out to be a big decoy as the real culprit is subway's motorman, who is eventually captured by Batman.
After Bruce finishes his tale, he asks Hawkman about the message so urgent he has come to deliver.

Synopsis for "The Man Who Skyjacked Hawkman"
Now Hawkman tells his story: The atomic plant has overloaded outside Midway city and only one scientist can stop the runaway reaction, Dr. Peiken. Hawkman intercepts his flight to bring him to the site faster, but he is stopped by The Calculator who wants to stall Hawkman and let the power plant explode. The Thanagarian policeman outsmarts him, and delivers Peiken to the plant and the Calculator to jail. He visited Bruce to tell him that the Computer has sprung from jail again, and he suspects that Batman is his next target.
