Detective Comics #548 is an issue of the series Detective Comics (Volume 1) with a cover date of March, 1985. It was published on December 27, 1984.

Synopsis for Batman: "Beasts A-Prowl"

Jason Todd has returned to Wayne Manor after Nocturna has cleared her apartment and decided that she can't pretend to be her mother. Since Mayor Hill's corruption was also exposed, Jason's adoption could be reverted anytime and the news brings joy to Alfred, but Bruce is more concerned for Nocturna's sudden disappearance. Fearing that she might be attacked by the Night-Slayer, who is still at large, Bruce decides to continue the investigations as Batman.
