Synopsis for Batman: "The Scarecrow Returns"
The Scarecrow escapes from prison and recruits a gang of henchmen. He embarks on a spectacular series of crimes, deliberately leaving behind clues which center around three letter words. He lures Batman and Robin into a death trap, but they escape from it. He is apprehended by Batman and Robin, while robbing an Oriental curio shop.
