Synopsis for Batman: "Destiny's Auction"

Batman and Robin meet three people who had their fortunes told by Madame Calagra, Diamond Pete a criminal, Judy O'Casson a young unsuccessful actress and Tremaine Wentworth an older actor who wants to go back to his long lost fame. And all of them are destined to be part of each others' lives in the near future. All three of them lost identical looking trunks and couldn't get it back for a year. Diamond Pete couldn't get it because he was jailed for a year after a diamond heist. Judy couldn't get it because she didn't have the money to pay for her rent and couldn't get inside her appartement. Tremaine couldn't get it because he got hit by a car and had amnesia for a year. Because they where not able to claim their trunks in a year the police seized the trunks and held an auction for them. All three of them went to the auction but accidentally bought the wrong trunk. Diamond Pete went back to his hideout with his suitcase but was followed by Batman and Robin where they got into a fight, during the fight they find out that the trunk is actually Tremaine's and Batman apologizes. Batman went to Tremaine and there they found out that the trunk he has is Judy's and that she apparently had scripts written by famous dramatist Claude Renner. Tremaine says that he had heard that Judy bought a trunk before him. Diamond Pete followed Batman and Robin to Tremaine and overheard this. They go to Judy's hotel, knocked her out and found their trunk with the diamonds from the heist Diamond Pete was arrested for. But Batman and Robin arrived at the hotel where they saved Judy and defeated the criminals. After this Bruce Wayne finances the play written by Renner starring Judy and Tremaine.
