Synopsis for "League of Shadows, Part 3: Kiss of the Dragon"
Commissioner Gordon and Renee Montoya secretly meet with Batman and Batwoman to discuss the escalating attacks in Gotham. Batman urges Gordon to evacuate the city by any means necessary, fearing that the situation will spiral further out of control.
Meanwhile, Cassandra Cain reflects on her past training with her father, David Cain. She remembers how he told her that her mother was not waiting for her and that no one cared about her. Struggling with these painful memories, Cassandra is comforted by Clayface, who offers her a book of Shakespeare’s works. He explains that when he wasn’t strong enough to express himself, he found it easier to borrow the words of others. Just before Cassandra leaves the Belfry, Clayface lets her go, unaware that he is about to be ambushed by the League of Shadows.
Seeking answers, Cassandra finds Batman and begins attacking him in frustration. Batman refuses to fight back, insisting that he believes in her. Despite his words, Cassandra kicks him off the ledge of a building, forcing Batman to grab onto a gargoyle to avoid falling to his death.
Meanwhile, Batwoman discovers Clayface shattered into pieces inside the Belfry. Before she can react, she is ambushed by assassins from the League of Shadows and dragged down to the holding cells, where Jacob Kane is forced to watch helplessly as his daughter is stabbed by one of the attackers.
After kicking Batman, Cassandra runs off and finds Lady Shiva, demanding to know why she was abandoned. Shiva coldly responds that she will only answer Cassandra’s questions if she attacks with lethal intent. Refusing to kill, Cassandra holds back, allowing Shiva to brutally beat her into unconsciousness.
Returning to the Batcave, Batman searches for Alfred, only to find Ra’s al Ghul and his bodyguard Ubu waiting for him instead.
