Synopsis for "League of Shadows, Part 5: Fists of Fury"
Batwoman, Azrael, and Batwing find themselves chained to an underground pillar next to a large bomb, while Clayface has been spread across multiple canisters hanging from the ceiling, preventing him from reassembling. Lady Shiva throws Batman to the ground and orders her assassins to chain him alongside the others.
Meanwhile, Orphan battles her way through the League of Shadows, recalling a recent memory of Christine Montclair, a ballet dancer who trains near Orphan's secret hideout. Christine read her a story about a girl who believed she was just a shadow, but ultimately learned that what the world says about you doesn't define who you are—only you can decide what you become. Inspired by the lesson, Orphan tears through the assassins, determined to prove that her worth isn't dictated by her past or others' expectations.
At the same time, aboard the Colony airship, Ulysses Hadrian shows Jacob Kane his latest weapon: a self-replicating, incendiary nano-swarm designed to target human bodies and set them ablaze, a horrifying chemical warfare tool intended to destroy the League of Shadows.
Back underground, Orphan fights her way through the entire League before finally facing her mother, Lady Shiva. Shiva dismisses Orphan, telling her that she's foolish to believe she can defeat her in single combat. Orphan acknowledges that she can't win alone—but she doesn't have to. At that moment, Batman and the rest of the team arrive, ready to even the odds and join the fight.
