History

Darkseid sends Kanto to Earth to invade JSA Headquarters to steal Stargirl's body and soul and take back to Apokolips. After a fake lost fight against the parademons the JSA was arrested,what gave J'onn time to scour the planet in search of her and contact his friend to understand Darkseid's new scheme: Infuse Courtney's soul into a machine and use it to extract information directly from the Source.

Capabilities

The D.E.M is a techno-organic machine made of unknown material that allows it to touch the Source Wall without being absorbed and equipped with energy cannons capable of breaking it. After breaking the wall, the device shoot a beam of light with the infused soul into the Source itself,that would send back information about the Source directly to Darkseid [1].
