Devil Dog was an enemy of the third Blue Beetle.
History
He was a cousin of the previous Hellhound, and as such, claimed the legacy title. He even got it tattooed on his back. Another crook contested him for the title and the two fought in El Paso for the name. Blue Beetle arrested them, but they went with the hero's suggestion and formed Dogpound as Anubis and Devil Dog.
