Dian Belmont was Wesley Dodds' girlfriend, confidant and secret partner in his activities as the Sandman. Unlike him, she was willing to kill their enemies if necessary.

- Investigation: Dian was an equal partner in Wesley's investigations. In addition to providing her own deductive abilities, she used her access to her father's office and the police records to gather information.
