Princess Diana of Themyscira is the princess of the Amazons, sculpted from clay by Queen Hippolyta and given life by the Goddesses of Olympus.
History
Diana was born on Themyscira as a new babe unlike the other Amazons who fell in battle and were granted an immortal life on Themyscira in return for agreeing to never interfere with the mortal world and protect the earth from mystical threats from within its borders. Due to her unconventional arrival she feels a strong need to prove herself, since she agrees with those that are wary of her that her very existence breaks all the rules laid out for Themyscira's survival.
