- Diane Meade was created by Jack Miller and Joe Certa, first appearing in Detective Comics #246. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Diane Meade first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Martian Manhunter (Volume 5) #1 by Steve Orlando and Riley Rossmo.
