Synopsis for Batman: "The Rookie"

Following the end of the Joker's Endgame battle with Batman and their apparent deaths, Gotham City holds a vigil with flashlight Batsignals.

On TV Geri Powers, a CEO taking over Wayne Enterprises, promises to honour the fallen hero. She approaches Jim Gordon and offers him a chance to don a Bat-suit, become the man he respects most and protect his city like he never could before.

Synopsis for Superman: "Exposed"

After being exposed as Superman, Clark and Jimmy Olsen go out to eat when a man walks over and throws a take-away truck at the incognito Clark. Reacting impulsively Clark catches the truck and apprehends the super-powered villain before going back into hiding while the world react to his actions; some adoring, some deploring.

In his motel room Lois Lane visits Clark to apologise but instead is sent home with no real conclusion.

Synopsis for Justice League: "Darkseid War, Prologue Two: The Other Amazon"

During a storm on Paradise Island as the Amazons prepare for Wonder Woman's birth, Myrina brings two other Amazons—Penelope and Menalippe—to help with her own pregnancy. As the storm rages Myrina gives birth to a daughter with grey skin causing the oracle Menalippe to envision the end of days as the child's father, Darkseid, battles the Anti-Monitor while the Justice League stand by broken and powerless.

Penelope begins toward the child, intent on killing it and saving the future but is kicked over a cliff by Myrina who turns toward the seizing prophet and kills her also. Myrina takes her child and they become the first to leave Paradise Island so she can protect her child and to help her with killing her father.
