Synopsis for "The Golden War! Part 2"
In the jungle, Doc Savage discovers his wife, Monja, who he thought dead, is ruling as a goddess to Mayans in the Valley of the Vanished. Savage tells Monja of how he came to be here in the Valley and Monja tells Savage of the Golden God who is terrorizing her people. She thought the "Golden God" was really senator Delgado. Hence, the assassination attempts on the senator.
Shoshanna Gold and Patricia Savage attempt to save Beau and Anton from death at the hands of the golden armored man but only succeed in causing a momentary diversion. The men are thrown into the snake pit. Doc arrives and kills the snakes. He then uses a new device he's been developing to prevent the snake venom from killing either of the men. Doc learns that the Golden God is planning to wage war on Hidalgo with a golden tank treated in the special impenetrable gold. He goes to Hidalgo to warn the senator.
The Golden God attacks Hidalgo and finds himself fighting not only Hidalgo's troops but the Mayans as well. Meanwhile, Doc works on a special project in his Hidalgo laboratory which he finishes and takes to the battlefield to face the man in the golden armor. Doc's special weapon penetrates the golden armor revealing Hidalgo's secretary of the interior, Pablo Valdez. Doc uses his special weapon to destroy the rest of the golden weapons on the battlefield, including two tanks.
Doc confronts the Golden God, who is really senator Luis Delgado, and Doc's wife is killed during the battle. When Delgado sees he cannot win, he takes his own life. Doc stores his wife in cryogenic freeze and tells the other he is going to restore her life.
