Doc Savage (Volume 2) #11 is an issue of the series Doc Savage (Volume 2) with a cover date of August, 1989.
Synopsis for "Sunlight Rising: Resurrection Night"
Doc Savage returns to his New York headquarters and unloads the cryogenically frozen body of his dead wife. His compatriots discuss Doc's intentions to resurrect his wife and Renny explains that Doc once resurrected someone in 1936 but said it was too dangerous a procedure to ever repeat.
On the Afghanistan/Tibert border, a man discovers a mummy and the journal of John Sunlight. He kills those who were guarding the mummy. The journal is sold to a man known as Grasp who teams up with Anders Holstrom at a company called Techtron in Stockholm, Sweden to find technology that Sunlight stole from Doc Savage and hid away.
Holstrom, Grasp and some hired men break into Long Tom's apartment and copy some of Doc Savage's files from Long Tom's computer in an attempt to find the location of the stolen weapons. They do not find the location they are looking for, but they do find the resurrection formula Doc has been working on day and night since his return from Hidalgo. They decide to resurrect Sunlight and have him tell them where the weapons are located.
Doc Savage and crew go to another base where they prepare to resurrect Monja. Before they can begin the procedure, Holstrom and Grasp's men attack the place, taking Savage and his compatriots captive. Once Savage and the others are secure, Holstrom and Grasp resurrect John Sunlight.
