"Over the Wall!": Wotan is looking for Nabu to settle his old conflict with Doctor Fate. He contacts Joachim Hesse, who was the last human to have confronted Doctor Fate.

Synopsis for "Over the Wall!"

Wotan is looking for Nabu to settle his old conflict with Doctor Fate. He contacts Joachim Hesse, who was the last human to have confronted Doctor Fate.

At that moment, Jack Small is in the middle of a trial, but he ditches the whole thing to comfort Linda, who is still grieving the loss of Eric. Nabu is coping with the tragedy in his own way, drowning his sorrow in alcohol. All of them find themselves in the streets of Manhattan when rain starts to pour from the heavens.

At that moment, Wotan reveals his origin to Joachim before absorbing him with fire. Afterwards, Wotan uses his powers to project a large image of himself in the dark skies, summoning Nabu to confront him. In order to make sure Nabu follows his command, Wotan threatens to kill several people in the city by making it rain fire bolts from the sky. Linda and Jack witness the destruction, but Linda refuses to turn into Doctor Fate.

Nabu reaches towards Wotan alongside Petey. Wotan is shocked to see Nabu in the body of a human, but given how Nabu is still quite powerful, Wotan unleashes all his might against him, knocking him unconscious. Wotan takes Nabu and immediately transports them somewhere else.

Linda watches the event and curses Nabu for forcing her into becoming Doctor Fate once again, but she promises this will be the last time. In the meantime, Petey goes to the headquarters of the Justice League International, seeking help to save Nabu from Wotan.

At that moment, Wotan and Nabu materialize in the ancient Tomb in India, where Wotan intends to use Nabu to become God.
