Synopsis for "The Night of Brahma, Part Three: Nightfall"

Eric Strauss is having issues being in the same place with Typhon, the Lord of Chaos. Ever since he and Nabu made an alliance, Eric has been disturbed by the memories of his past torment in Arkham Asylum at the hands of Typhon and Dr. Stoner. Despite this conflict, Nabu tells Eric to remain calm and rest for the task that lies ahead of them.

Meanwhile, Andrew Bennett follows the Lords of Order's commands and travels to London, from which he then travels to Eustania in order to find an ancient castle, unaware that the place is zealously guarded by an elder vampire.

The next morning, Eric, Linda, Nabu, Typhon and Petey travel all the way to London, but Nabu loses track of Bennett and their journey comes to a halt. Typhon's presence alters Eric's mind to an unbearable degree. While Linda tries to calm him down, Eric holds on to her and they transform into Doctor Fate, as to get as far away as possible from Typhon, much to Nabu's annoyance.

The New and Improved Doctor Fate

Fate flies away towards the city, where he starts creating chaos, as he believes he is being attacked by demons. The horrific images are actually inside Eric's mind and since his personality is the dominant part, Fate reacts accordingly. From withing Fate's shared consciousness, Linda talks to Eric and manages to calm him down before things get out of hand. Eric is soothed until he allows Linda to take control of Doctor Fate and the Master Sorcerer suddenly changes his male appearance and becomes a female. Linda is now in control of Doctor Fate and things are back to normal again.

At that moment, Andrew Bennett arrives to the ancient castle, where he meets some resistance from the resident vampire, but not enough to stop him from reaching the old building. Once inside, Bennett locates the presence of the vampire, whose name is Azzarene. The elder vampire knows that Bennett's succeess in locating the castle can only mean that it's all part of some grand design by his master and he allows Bennett to reach the castle's most sacred secret: the location of the Holy Grail. Inside the golden chalice, there's blood and Bennett is urged to drink from the grail.
