Synopsis for "Circular Motion"

Indra, the Lord of the Fourth Heaven has noticed Joachim Hesse's efforts to complete the ritual that will transform him into the Lord of the Fourth Heaven. Indra can't allow this to happen and summoning his elemental powers, he creates chaos and destruction in Manhattan.

Meanwhile, Linda Strauss has to look after Eric, who hasn't recovered and is not getting any better, while she puts up with the obnoxious Nabu. However, when the streets of Manhattan fall into chaos, Nabu becomes serious and tells Linda that she will have to become Doctor Fate by herself, given Eric's current condition. Nabu teaches Linda how to transform by herself and after a painful process, she becomes Doctor Fate. Nabu knows about Hesse's plans and he instructs Fate to stop the fool, sending Petey along in her task.

At that moment, Deadman notices the strange elemental disturbances in Manhattan and he starts investigating. Doctor Fate can't make use of her full powers since she is missing her other half, leaving her at the mercy of the elemental attacks. Fate and Petey come across Jack Small and use his car to get to Hesse's place, which is untouched by the elemental attacks. Once they arrive, Fate and Petey are joined by Deadman, who takes possession of Small's body to talk to Fate. They set out to stop Hesse but they soon realize the place is magically protected. Indra has noticed this as well and he gets ready to destroy the entire city if necessary in order to stop Hesse; who is closer to achieve his goal.
