History

Lex Luthor located Doctor Winger when he traveled to a parallel universe in which Superboy had killed him. He had learned that his Superboy had followed him to this dimension and decided to use Winger to help him set a trap for his old nemesis.

When Superboy arrived, they used Green Kryptonite to kill him, but he escaped death by jumping through the portal.
