The Dog was a villain of the Outsiders and an android designed by Dr. Eric Shanner to be the pet of the Nuclear Family, a stereotypical "Ozzie & Harriet" 1950s family. He can fly and transform itself into radioactive fallout. The "Dog" was created by Mike W. Barr and Jim Aparo, first appearing in Outsiders #1 (1985).
