Notes
- This is the fifth and final issue of the "Milk Wars" event.
- The story continues from JLA/Doom Patrol Special #1, Mother Panic/Batman Special #1, Shade, the Changing Girl/Wonder Woman Special #1 and Cave Carson Has a Cybernetic Eye/Swamp Thing Special #1.
- Batman mentions having faced Barbatos which implies that Milk Wars takes place not long after the events of Dark Nights: Metal.
- Earth 0 is erased by Retconn's reality-altering "Final Refresh Button", but it is restored to existence after being rebooted by Flex Mentallo's Muscle Mystery with a few minor changes.
- The events of this story led into some series:
- Loma Shade's story continues in Shade, the Changing Woman (Volume 1);
- Cave Carson's story continues in Cave Carson Has an Interstellar Eye (Volume 1);
- Mother Panic's story continues in Mother Panic: Gotham A.D. (Volume 1).
- The Doom Patrol's story continues in Doom Patrol: Weight of the Worlds (Volume 1).
Trivia
- This story marks the third time that Prime Earth is rebooted after the Rebirth and the merge between Prime Earth and New Earth's continuities during the Superman: Reborn storyline.
- The next reboot will happen in Doomsday Clock #12.
- Mother Panic being time-displaced to a possible future was foreseen by Rebecca Paige in Mother Panic/Batman Special #1.
- Rita Farr's Passion of Jesus-themed "Passion Play" was first shown in Cave Carson Has a Cybernetic Eye/Swamp Thing Special #1.
- Milkman Man's "Lies, Marketing and the Retconn Way" is obviously a pun of Superman's long-time catchphrase "Truth, Justice and the American Way".
