The Doom Patrol is a team of powerful beings disfigured and traumatized by horrible events that gave them their strange and unique powers. On top of their strangeness, the foes of the Doom Patrol tend to be even stranger then they are. They were assembled by Doctor Niles Caulder, the man responsible for engineering said events for his experiments involving immortality, which the team didn't learn for many years.
