Celsius finds the wheelchair of her late husband, Niles Caulder, still in tact and is convinced that her husband somehow survived the explosion that supposedly killed him and the rest of the original Doom Patrol. She recruits Robotman and Tempest in her quest to find out the truth and a conflict begins with her old nemesis, a man believing himself to be a manifestation of Kalki.
