Doomsday is a prehistoric Kryptonian monster.

History

The scientist Bertron killed and resurrected Doomsday over and over in an evolution experiment to create the perfect, invincible monster. However, after years of this abuse, the mindless, rage-filled monster eventually broke free of his captor and killed him, as well as a Green Lantern, and made his way through space to one day terrorize Earth.
