Driq was a member of the Green Lantern Corps.

History

Driq was the Green Lantern of Sector 667. He joined seven other Green Lanterns on the planet Klyminade, but the group was decimated by Sinestro and the MadGod of Sector 3600. Driq was one of the killed Lanterns, but somehow his ring preserved him in a zombie-like state. This allowed Driq to resist what would be lethal damage in other circumstances. Along with Flodo Span and Olapet, they joined John Stewart's group to face and capture the escaped criminals.

After the trial and execution of Sinestro, the Central Power Battery was destroyed, and the power ring that kept Driq alive stopped working, resulting in his definite death.

Black Lantern Driq

Driq received a commemorative place in the Crypts of the Green Lantern Corps. Just like many fallen Lanterns, Driq was resurrected once again as a Black Lantern during the Blackest Night.
