History
On the planet Krypton; General Zod caused the destruction of planet by drilling the planet for its core in order to have the energy needed for his war machine and stopped Jor-El from implanting his genetic code onto the egg created by Lara. Knowing the planet is about to blow up, Zod touches it to implant his genetic code. The pod escaped the planet with the child and crashed on the planet Earth leaving the rest of the Kryptonian race to die.[1]
Notes
- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the film Justice League: Gods and Monsters and is an adaptation of Dru-Zod. The original character was created by Robert Bernstein and George Papp and first appeared in Adventure Comics #283.
- Dru-Zod was voiced by Bruce Thomas.
