Duo is the nanobionically merged entity, begotten via the microbiological unison of Doctor Kelly Vu and Professor David Kim when the former used their patented nanotech to save her husband's life.

Powers
- Cybernetic Enhancement: After being hit point blank by an explosion, David's experimental nanobots escaped containment and used the organic matter of his betrothed to heal him, during this process the nanobots bonded to David and now provide him with various superhuman capabilities.[1]
- Adaptation: After being stabbed in the back with Morien's vibrosword, Duo had learned to adjust to the damage such weaponry can cause and, with Kelly in control, managed to repel the Tinker Tech androids which had been modified with technologies replicating the incisors effects. Enabling the host to return said armaments to sender by violently rejecting them from the body.[2]
- Regeneration: The first ability that Duo manifested was his prodigious healing ability, the bots repair almost instantly any damage to his body. They healed his body from severe burns from the explosion that bonded him to his bots[1], several puncture wounds, fall damage[3], multiple bullets wounds[2] and impalement from several energy blades.[1] When analyzed Ambros of the Immutables determinate with some uncertainty that a nuke may be the only thing capable of killing them.[4]
- Immortality: The bots in their body keep them from ever being killed as heal any damage done to them.
- Decelerated Aging: The nanobots in Duo's body stopped their aging process.
- Molecular Reconstruction/Disintegration: In case of extreme damage the nanobots can consume nearby sources of organic matter to accelerate healing processes.[1][5]
- Superhuman Durability: While not invulnerable, shared healing abilities make Duo able to survive wounds that would kill any ordinary human, they have been hit by rockets while showing no damage or discomfort.[2]
- Superhuman Stamina
- Superhuman Strength: The bots have enhance the amalgam's strength to superhuman levels, being seen engaging advanced androids in hand to hand combat and even punching through their heads.[2]
- Superhuman Speed: The nanobots have enhanced Duo's speed to such levels that they could destroy the bombs strapped on four different monsters before they could react.[1]
- Electronic Communication: Kelly in David's body found they can interface with technology without need of a mechanical apparatus, such as accepting telephone calls without use of a cellphone.[2]
- Flight: By modifying the molecules surrounding their body Duo can fly at high speeds.[3]
- Amphibian: The bots can extract oxygen from water enabling Duo to be able to breath underwater.[3]
- Metamorphosis: The nanobots in their body enable Duo to change the shape of their body and appearance at will, being able to even reform clothing as needed.[1]
- Claws: As an extension of said shape-shifting abilities they can reshape their limbs to form blades and claws capable of harming other superhumans.[4]
- Elasticity: Duo can greatly extend the reach of their appendageal incisors to reach out and gore anything or anyone they direct said claws at.[5]

- Density Control: David/Kelly learned they can use their newfound predicament to alternate the physical permissibility of matter in order to mass through solid glass.[4]
- Intangibility: With an act of conscious will, Duo can make himself intangible and immune to all damage, an attacking Morien simply flew through his body when he charged him.[4]
- Phasing: Thanks to his intangibility Duo can move through solid matter with no effort.[4]
- Infection: Duo can use the nanites in their system to commingle with remote entities in various ways.[5]
- Mechanokinesis: By infecting other technological entities with their nanobots allows for taking control over their actions.[2]
- Healing: Through the supplementing of his/her nanotech, DUO learned to cure and alleviate many diseases and sicknesses at will.[5]
- Psychic Link: Duo shares a consciousness between David & Kelly after the bots consumed Kim's fiancée's body, the nanobots having transferred her mind and consciousness into the amalgamate's brain.[1]
Abilities
Weaknesses
- Shared Body: Because his fiancée now inhabits his brain as a second consciousness they sometimes struggle for dominance over his body.
- Mental Disorder: The union of minds causes some psychological imbalances.
- Power Instability: Even with the curative abilities of the nanite appliance, Duo cannot (yet) amend more serious diseases such as cancer.
