Duxania was a tiny monarchy in Europe.

History

In 1968, Princess Vannia of Duxania visited Metropolis and duped Jimmy Olsen into boarding her private jet, then kidnapped him. This was done in order to foil an assassination attempt against Otgar, the king of Duxania, by Magnaman, "the Superman of Duxania." Magnaman was the leader of a rebel faction seeking to dethrone the king, by any means. Olsen foiled one attack by using his signal watch to disrupt Magnaman's super sensitive hearing.

After carrying out an elaborate ruse to deceive the King's defenders about the nature of Magnaman's "only weakness," Magnaman carried out an even more elaborate ruse, in order to loot the royal treasury and blame it on the King. While disguised as Superman, he had himself buried alive, and due to an unlikely and complicated accident, his plan failed and he suffocated to death.
