But to me, he was a titan. A handsome, swashbuckling Prometheus, stealing the fire from heaven and daring the gods to make him give it back. He was everything I wanted to be, everything I hoped I could be. Which is why I was so heartbroken when he went solo. 
Fury, real name Earl Povich, was born to a steelworker in Pittsburgh. He formed a team with the Pied Piper called Sound and Fury.
History
During a solo heist, Fury was taken down by the Flash. He spent ten years in prison before escaping. Once free, he set about taking down targeted buildings from a plan he had formed with the Piper all of those years ago. Hartley had recognized the pattern and was able to tip off the police about Fury's plan. He was finally cornered at Petitte Mall where Piper's boyfriend, James, was working at the time. After attacking the man, he was brought down by a blast from one of Piper's sonic guns. He was arrested and presumed to be back in prison.[1]

- Hartley was attracted to Earl in the past, which made his boyfriend James jealous, but that feeling didn't seem to be reciprocal.
