- "The Ex-Legends of Tomorrow" takes place during the events of the DC's Legends of Tomorrow episode, "Too Legit to Quit" as, in the epilogue, Nate Heywood has just returned to Earth after the Legends disbanded.
- It also takes place some time after The Flash episode, "Armageddon, Part 1" as Ray Palmer states to be a tech nonprofit CEO, referencing the Quincy P. Runk Foundation he created after meeting Chester P. Runk;
- The epilogue of the story is set on Nora West-Allen's Future.
- The Future Legends' story is continued in Earth-Prime #6.
- The "Booster's Day Out" story takes place after Booster Gold stole the Waverider in DC's Legends of Tomorrow series finale, "Knocked Down, Knocked Up", and began traveling through time.
