Synopsis for "Life After Death"
It is six months later.
Metropolis begins its workday under a beautiful sunny sky, as its wonders think of how lucky they are to be alive and able to help their friends and their society, to face the naturally-occurring hardships that assail everyone, and to be seen as a boon by society for their effort. To have survived the disasters that destroyed the Earth, despite their best efforts and the sacrifices of their dearest friends. To have lived on borrowed time with no chance of expansion as the stifled rage of their fellow survivors threatened to kill them all. But to see their love for their fellows vindicated by a miracle - a second Earth, a second chance for society.
And so now they fight to save the world with smiles on their faces, because they have faced the worst and know how precious normal life is. They can share their stories and be the unashamed heroes they were always meant to be.
That evening, the wonders have gathered for their weekly meeting, and though some are sad for dead loved ones, all mention how they wish to meet more often, to be among friends. Oracle - Dick Grayson, the chairman of the meeting - comes into this group and officially begins the meeting by reviewing possible threats. As the view widens out to show the entire world, the heroes muse that this world is good place, and worth fighting for.
