Synopsis for "Godhood"

In Erebus City, Doctor Impossible is rallying his group of wonders. As he predicts, Superman, Batman, and the Flash come barreling into town, ready to catch him for his role in the recent disasters. The two trios match up, with Superman fighting Doctor Impossible, Anarky fighting Batman and Flash fighting Johnny Sorrow. Flash is swiftly brought low by the unholy nature of Johnny Sorrow's face, while Batman and Anarky are surprised by how evenly-matched their respective utility belts are.

Superman tries to catch Doctor Impossible, but Doctor Impossible insists that he is a nascent god - and that he is not alone. On command, a seventh wonder appears, Hourman, and brags that for he next hour, he can do anything. The three heroes rally to attack him while Doctor Impossible and the other two retreat.

Three months ago, Jimmy Olsen, Helena Wayne and Oliver Queen were meeting at Wayne Tower in New Gotham to construct a replacement Source Vault. Jimmy insisted that it should work, but the device exploded in Helena's face. Queen led her away, shouting at Jimmy for "promising the impossible", leaving the boy to stew.

A week later, there was a night-time break-in at Wayne Tower. The perpetrator managed to jump from a nearby building, smash through a window, then disable the security electronics before almost anyone could notice. His mission was to recover, from a memorial exhibit dedicated to the two past Batmen, the Miraclo pills which Thomas Wayne had used to fight crime. The thief was apparently the son of their original creator, who had subsequently been robbed of the formula by Thomas Wayne. Taking one of the pills, the thief was able to get out of the building and was almost free from Helena Wayne and Oliver Queen, who were in hot pursuit, when he was suddenly rescued by Jimmy Olsen, who teleported them both to his base in Erebus City.

At his home, Jimmy revealed that he knew the thief's name - he was Rick Tyler, son of TylerCo chemical magnate Rex Tyler, the developer of the Miraclo pills. Thomas Wayne had stolen them and hadn't even been able to use them properly. But Jimmy promised he could enhance the pills, get Rick the recognition his family deserved - and all he would need to do was to have faith in the impossible.

In New Gotham, tonight, Helena Wayne is meeting Power Girl at the site of Terry Sloan's murder. Between Terry Sloan's use of chaotic terraforming energies and Green Lantern using the power of the Green to contain them, the murder site is now a small paradise encased in a semipermeable energy bubble, which the locals are already calling the Eden District. Huntress is musing at the possibilities if they could safely replicate this on a grand scale, but Power Girl is uninterested, saying the best they can hope for on this new Earth is the chance to move on. Helena is still mourning her father and grandfather when Power Girl leaves.

Suddenly, a Boom Tube drops her second visitor in front of her: Jimmy Olsen, in his Doctor Impossible, saying that he has the technology they need to fulfill their goal of changing Earth 2 for the good of society!
