Synopsis for "Furies"
War proclaims her controlled champions as Furies for Darkseid and was about to execute Batman, but was saved by Superman right before engaging once again against their mind controlled allies. War commanded them to kill each other and destroy the city as she was called by her Fury sisters who were bringing more death to the world.
Commander Khan informs the situation to the world's chancellors, now having twenty-three days until mutual annihilation, but while he wondered why the enemy would do this, the chancellors wanted instead to unleash the planet's arsenal of nuclear weapons towards the enemy. They needed proper intelligence before such launch so they requested him to interrogate the aganet of Apokolips in his custody, so when Commander Khan refused they sent Sandman, Terrific and Sloan to conduct the interrogation.
On a Chicago's stronghold, the Graysons were having difficulties on their new home, but the man of the family promised them they'll be okay. Hawkgirl continues to follow Dr. Fate who is in hunt of his next weilder, while the Fury of Famine feeds of a city's life force and John Constantine falls to this Earth. Red Tornado reboots her mind and frees everyone of War's spell, now with the mission of shutting down the fire pits. The World Army decides to help the Wonders right before Jimmy is suddenly contacted by a mysterious "cube". Commander Khan wants to eliminate Miracle and his companions before they create more chaos, but Sloan wants to set them free so they can return to Apokolips, follow them and establish a teleportation mark to attack.
The Mother Box awaits for the boy, rejecting Dr. Crane who tried to recollect her data, so they call for Jimmy Olsen. The Wonders decide to go into the pit, entrusting the surface to Green Lantern who was worried about Aquawoman since one of the Furies went towards her kingdom, killing everyone on it.
